February 27, 2009

Elise and Kaleo Ching

Aloha from Kaleo and Elise!

Thanks for being in our ‘Ohana (family). Many of you have shared your stories with us. I love keeping our circle alive!

Elise and I are teaching our Chi Kung classes at the Acupressure Institute at Cedar and Shattuck in Berkeley (510-845-1059).

Our Wednesday morning ongoing Chi Kung classes (7:45 to 8:45am) are excellent for anyone doing repetitive movement (bodyworkers, cashiers, office workers, musicians, athletes, etc.).

  • It will help prevent injury, arthritis, build your immune system and energy reserves.
  • $12 drop in or $40 for 4 classes.

We are beginning the “Tiger’s Breath Chi Kung” form again.

It’s an ongoing class every Thursday evening. Part I begins on March 5, Thursday, 7pm to 8:30 pm. Part II begins in June. It takes about 3 months to learn each part. It’s open to all levels and you can begin anytime; however, it’s best to start at the beginning. If you haven’t attended before, the first class is free, so you can check it out.

  • $15 drop in or $50 for 4 classes.
  • Tiger’s Breath Chi Kung affects you on a holistic level…..physically (musculoskeletal), energetically (meridians and acupoints), mentally (focus, centeredness), emotionally (endocrine/hormonal system), spiritually (the Divine within and without).

For those mentoring with us to teach our Chi Kung, Lomilomi, or our Faces of Your Soul Maskmaking classes, it’s extremely important for you to learn this form. It’s integrated in everything Elise and I do and who we are. It affects our relationship to self, to each other, and to others. It affects our teaching awareness, our healing practices (bodywork and hypnotherapy). It affects our sacred purpose in the world. This form engages your chakras (macro orbit), balances your yin and yang (masculine and feminine energies), connects you with heaven (spiritual) and earth (grounding/practical), integrates the outer with the inner, enhances your immune system and your chi (energy) reserves.
